On March 6, 2007 the 1st vessel with toluene was unloaded at the Port of
Sillamae.

On December 6, 2006 the terminal for liquid chemicals handling was
officially opened at the Port of Sillamae.

On August 24, 2006 the 1st vessel was loaded with acetic acid at the Port of
Sillamae.
29.07.2006
On July 29, 2006 the 1st vessel was loaded with methanol at the Port of
Sillamae.
01.12.2004
In November 2004 the company began designing and construction of the
terminal for liquid chemicals handling at the Port of Sillamae. For this
purpose the TANKCHEM has got 5,7 ha of the port area.
18.09.2004
On September 18, 2004 the 1st vessel was loaded with methanol at Muuga Harbour.
The shipment volume was
1,500 tonnes. In September 2004 the TANKCHEM company insured the
transportation and handling of various chemicals using direct-variant
method, i.e. directly from the railway tanks into the vessels. The
transshipment volume reached 15,000 tonnes per month.

The TANKCHEM company was established in February 2004 for the purpose of construction of the major chemical terminal for liquid chemicals
handling in the territory of Estonia.
ABOUT COMPANY
The TANKCHEM terminal for liquid
chemicals handling is the affiliated undertaking of OJSC EuroChem MCC which is
the major agrochemical company in Russia, one of top three Europe and ten global
fertilizer producers.
The TANKCHEM
company was established in February 2004.
Since September
2004, the company transshipped chemical freights at the existent berths of
Muuga Harbour in Maardu using direct-variant method, i.e. directly from the
railway tanks into the vessels. At the same time the company began designing and construction of the terminal for liquid chemicals handling
at the Port of Sillamae. The construction took a record short time and on
December 6, 2006 the TANKCHEM terminal was placed in operation.
Nowadays the
terminal provides the high professional services including liquid chemicals
(such as methanol, ethylene glycol, toluene, acetic acid, alkalizes,
dichloroethane, etc.)
